GBS People and Culture Business Partner
The incumbent serves as a business partner, driving People & Culture processes within the assigned business area, including recruitment, compensation & benefits, learning & development, talent management, performance appraisal, employee relations, policy creation, and personnel administration. This role provides daily support to managers and employees, developing strong relationships with the assigned Head of Department and line managers. The incumbent applies commercial awareness to anticipate challenges, propose solutions, and foster collaboration to enhance effectiveness between People & Culture and the business.
As the GBS People and Culture Business Partner in the area of our General Management team, you will:
Serve as a trusted expert advisor in key areas of People & Culture, including talent management, performance management, recruitment, organizational design and development, compensation and benefits, learning and development, P&C projects, employee engagement, employer branding, and employee and labor relations. Provide strategic guidance to drive business success through effective P&C practices. Function as an architect with the expertise to design, build, and develop processes, systems, and structures that enhance organizational capabilities and effectiveness. Demonstrate strong communication and relationship-building skills to engage and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across all levels of the organization. Foster trust and alignment to drive initiatives and achieve shared goals. Be a highly analytical professional with the ability to interpret complex data and metrics, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable strategies and impactful solutions. Exhibit strong business acumen with a deep understanding of the organization’s operations and strategic objectives. Leverage this knowledge to deliver innovative and tailored P&C strategies while demonstrating forward-thinking and strategic planning capabilities.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience: At least 7 years of HR experience, preferably in a multinational company or GBS/shared services environment, with proven expertise across multiple HR functions. Language: Fluent in written and spoken English for effective global communication. Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting, data management, and presentations. HR Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of HR functions, including talent management, recruitment, performance management, organizational design, compensation and benefits, learning and development, employee engagement, and labor relations. Legal Knowledge: Strong understanding of Philippine labor laws and policies to ensure compliance. Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams, prioritize tasks, and navigate diverse HR responsibilities effectively.
