You support sourcing, contracting and buy enablement for all Indirect Materials & Services spend categories- including identification of opportunities, planning of events, stakeholder alignment, productivity achievements reporting, driving a team of buyers doing sourcing execution - to maximize the total value of ownership for the organization.

You also work closely with local business, global spend category leads and procurement capabilities & compliance team to ensure best practice sharing and driving value for the organization. You work with business partner to ensure Global Buying Policy controls and compliance are adhered to.

How you will contribute

You will take the lead in creating value through innovation, sustainability, risk management, quality, service, cash and productivity programs all while ensuring compliance with policies, strategies and processes.

In addition, you will lead Mondelez Tail Spend Management sourcing program operations for your region, by leveraging a business partner Sourcing CoE, to develop a pipeline of initiatives with the business and suppliers that incorporates best practices, market insights, risks and opportunities to ensure Mondelēz International’s competitive advantage and deliver productivities.

More about this role

What you need to know about this position: Position opened to meet a growing demand for Global Business Services to create value for Mondelez business. It is an operational role required as part of a CPO sponsored program to manage tail spend globally.

Education / Certifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Commercial & Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Relevant professional certification.

Ideally MCIPS qualified (not mandatory)

CI and PM certifications are a plus.

Job specific requirements:

10+ years of proven IM&S categories and subpackages spend management experience at regional level.

Multiple years’ experience within a large international business.

Strong stakeholder management skills; including making complex information simple, accessible and insightful for decision makers.

Cost & financial acumen with strong analytical and numerical skills.

Organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external teams.

Strong influencing and decision-making skills, showing clear leadership in driving resolution of problems in a structured manner.

Cultural awareness and experience of working in international teams.

Travel requirements: Occasional travel.

Work schedule: In alignment with local regulations, with flexibility to operate in a Global environment, keeping primary focus on region’s stakeholders.

Salary and Benefits:

The base salary range for this position is $106,300 - $146,200; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results and eligibility to participate in our long-term incentive program.
