Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Analytical Chemistry Laboratory Technician to provide accurate analytical services and results. You will perform routine extraction, chemical isolation, and sample clean-up using various techniques, as well as operate laboratory equipment. This role requires meticulous documentation and preparation of reagents and analytical working standards according to SOPs.
ResponsibilitiesProvide analytical services and results accurately.Perform routine extraction, chemical isolation, and sample clean-up.Extract samples and prepare reagents.Operate laboratory equipment including blenders, nitrogen, roto-evaporators, shakers, pH meters, and centrifuges.Perform sample extractions as per documented methods and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Use various techniques including blending, shaking, Soxhlet extraction, digestion, SPE, distillation/condensation, liquid-liquid partitioning, and chemical derivatization.Independently document and prepare reagents as well as analytical working standards according to current SOPs.Essential SkillsStrong knowledge of chemistry and analytical chemistry.Proficiency in gas chromatography and laboratory information management system (LIMS).Experience with chromatographic separation, GC-MS/MS, and multiple reaction monitoring (MRM).Familiarity with Agilent Masshunter software and acquisition method modification.Skilled in sample preparation, extraction, and bench chemistry.Experience with mass spectrometry and quality control analysis.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Chemistry or related science from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Work Environment
You will work in a laboratory using general laboratory equipment.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $57200.00/yr.
