Job Description Insight Global is looking for a GCP Solution Architect in the San Jose, CA area. In this role you are responsible to work closely together with DevOps teams in their effort to build solutions in Google Cloud, by supporting them with solution design, sharing cloud knowledge & cloud upskilling path according to their expertise and capacity; co-creating and agreeing on a joint milestone planning, discuss cost management and security aspects part of their onboarding to cloud. This role is part of the Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE). This ART vision is to provide a flexible and reliable automated cloud platform to enable accelerated and sustainable adoption of cloud across ASML and maximizing the ability to realize its benefits while reducing risks, supporting the company's growth and bring innovative cloud solutions to the teams. Responsibilities Participate and contribute in Cloud Platform & Product Architecture for cloud based applications. Provide expertise and leadership regarding Cloud Architecture for both infrastructure and applications in GCP. Demonstrate thought leadership in cloud computing across multiple streams (cloud native) Develops technical roadmaps for future GCP cloud implementations. Ensures security is integrated into all cloud architecture solutions. Develop PoC/PoV as and when required. Acts as a subject-matter expert around GCP Define technology standards and future state for Cloud Services Creation and maintenance of guidelines, reference architectures, guiding principles and solution building blocks Creation and maintenance of technology roadmaps for automation and programmable infrastructure Confidential Research, cost-justify and drive technological improvements through position papers Cooperate with enterprise architecture to assure overall fit & integration and define target architectures Standardize automation capabilities and create automation best practices Decision owner for architectural decisions for GCP Identifying the decisions to be taken about the solution Advise management to support the decision making process Communicating the decisions and their impact to stakeholders Create and supervise design within the DevOps teams and projects/programs Assist with application team intakes regarding improving their automation capabilities Create solution design together with the application team which has the best fit for their application with the current provided services Detect new needed cloud services to be developed and align with CCoE product owner Review and/or approve technical solutions assurance of compliance with directives, standards and guidelines Ensure that the implementation is in line with design Maintenance of design documents within the domain PR: $85-90/hr We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Skills and Requirements A minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Cloud Platform & Product Architect Experience in setting up enterprise level account structures and security models in GCP Experience in configuring and using PaaS offerings. In depth knowledge of cloud-based delivery models. Extensive knowledge in cloud based data integration patterns and architectures Troubleshooting complex scenarios related to an Application Deployment Knowledge of and experience with IT architecture methodologies and processes (e.g. TOGAF) for supporting ASMLs cloud architecture and supporting other target architectures to incorporate cloud services. Service management methods and processes (ITIL) to support current teams in their transition towards agile/DevOps teams in the mindset you build it, your run it, you fix it Experience with outsourcing of IT services Proven track record in road mapping, technical architecture design, solution definition, project management/execution, change/risk management Work experience from large, international companies and have dealt with or worked for global service providers.
