Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop innovative cloud-based solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services. Stay informed on the latest trends and advancements in cloud computing and GCP technologies. Evaluate new GCP services and technologies to drive innovation, enhance system performance, and optimize cloud solutions. Collaborate closely with various departments and stakeholders to understand requirements and optimize GCP cloud performance. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous development in GCP Cloud projects.

Experience:

10+ years of experience in the IT industry, including at least 4 years in a Lead Engineer, Cloud Architect, or similar role. 2+ years of hands-on experience with the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) technology stack. Deep expertise in GCP services and cloud architecture, including Compute Engine, App Engine, GKE, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Composer. Strong knowledge of GCP Networking, Security, and Compliance. Proven experience in software engineering and architecture design. Solid understanding of both Relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, Bigtable, Firestore, MongoDB, Cassandra). Proficient in DevOps and SRE practices, including CI/CD, scripting, test automation, and observability tools like ELK stack, Grafana, and Prometheus. GCP Professional Cloud Architect certification is highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
