Job Description Day to Day: Insight Global is looking for a GCP Tech Lead to join the team of their largest Automotive OEM client based in Dearborn, MI. This individual will be joining the Data Analytics organization of the team, and will be brought on to not only provide technical expertise within GCP cloud solutions, but also leadership of other team members. This person should be highly technical regarding GCP cloud solutions, and should have a background of leading teams. This is a hybrid position in Dearborn, MI.  - Specific Responsibilities:   • Design cloud solutions on GCP, working with architects, and providing feedback & recommendations on products   • Technical leadership - guiding/mentoring other software engineers with development of solutions/resolution of technical issues   • Management - participate/lead development of requirements, use cases, stand up meetings, etc.   • Manage - lead & support integration projects, overseeing work of system engineers, & working with executives, and various business partners/stakeholders. Change/Service Requests - participate/lead service request related activities Compensation: $60/hr to $70/hr Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Skills and Requirements Qualifications:   Bachelor's degree in computer science   3+ years of deploying & enhancing GCP cloud solutions   Strong cloud computing expertise - either GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, or OpenShift   2+ years of experience installing, configuring, monitoring & tuning infrastructure tools   5+ years of software development experience with Java/Angular   § Professional experience as a tech lead   § Python also highly preferred Enterprise level company experience Preferred:  - Master's degree in computer science  - Windows, Unix, or Linux OS experience Database experience with either PostgreSQL, Big Query, or MongoDB null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
