Being part of the SAP HCM team, you will be working on the implementation of Time & Payroll systems for multiple countries on some of the latest SAP cloud technologies and be part of the team that pioneers in SAP Payroll control center implementations.
Position Summary: The role of an SAP HCM Functional consultant is to contribute towards end-to-end implementations of SAP HCM/ECP system for clients from all around the world especially the Americas, Canada, Australia, UK & European countries. Key expectations for this role are to provide high quality results to these multinational teams, often to a tight deadline. Primary Responsibilities and Accountabilities
• Analyse and propose solutions for requirements received from clients and other Functional consultants
• Develop, document, and deliver solutions with utmost quality adhering to EY best practices
• Actively participate in entire life cycle of SAP HCM implementations like design, estimation, development, documentation, testing and take ownership wherever required
• Collaborate with experts, architects, and project managers to ensure highest standards of delivery within the stipulated timelines
• Work with the business to understand their needs and coach them on the appropriate solutions (capability consultant), while at the same time, work with technical support team to drive them to an efficient technical solution design
• Drive improvements and innovations in development processes, methodologies, and technology
• Engage with the customers during different phases of product development to ensure success of the project
Qualification and Competencies:
• Qualification: Any Graduate / Postgraduate
• Up to 4 Years of relevant experience in SAP as Functional Consultant with good exposure to HCM/ECP Module
• Expertise in HCM/ECP Module including PA, OM, Payroll, Time Management and Portal (ESS/MSS)
• Development experience in HCM/ECP Module or higher is preferred
• Good understanding of Payroll processing in SAP HCM and experience in Payroll application development
• Good experience in Interface implementations
• Expertise in various Enhancement Implementation options
• Expertise in writing Schema & PCR.
• Expertise in Positive Time Management.
• Knowledge in Integration techniques like PTP, BIB and Exposure to Employee Central Payroll, Payroll control center and SF Employee Central will be an advantage
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes, IT Service Management System (preferably ServiceNow) and Testing tool - HP ALM will also be an advantage
• Ability to quickly understand customers business requirements and to generate, promote new and creative ideas.
• Strong interpersonal and good written & oral communication skills.
• Team player, with the ability to multi-task, flexible and can work under pressure.
• Commitment to continuous learning and proactively implement latest technologies.
