GE Aerospace's technical co-ops and interns gain broad exposure to varied areas of the Aircraft Engine business. Areas of opportunities include: Materials Behaviour, Metallography, Composites materials, Metallic materials, Failure analysis, and more. Experienced managers mentor co-op contributions and ensure development during their assignments. Co-ops build leadership and functional skills through structured and challenging hands-on experience complemented by classroom training.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Works on projects often requiring independent decision-making.
Develops PowerPoint presentations and other graphic presentations to communicate progress, share best practices, or to provide updates.
May be asked to analyze data with excel or various other analysis tools
May be asked to take on certain aspects of a full time job within the function the intern is studying.
Performing assignments where trust and accuracy are required
Qualifications/Requirements:
Must have at least a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale (without rounding)
Working towards a degree in a technical field of study
Attending a full time matriculated two year technical program
Completed one full year of college
Willingness to work in any GE Aerospace US location for a minimum of 10 weeks and maximum 28 weeks

Benefits:
Pay rates for this position begin at $17.00/hour depending on major, and increase for each undergraduate year completed. Relocation support and housing assistance is available for those who relocate to a new city.
