Essential Responsibilities:
As a the GE9X Cost Leader, you will be responsible for facilitating the development and communication of technical programs and business metrics, including, but not limited to:Effectively communicate with Part Family leaders, Finance, Supply Chain and Engineering to ensure Cost Projects are captured accurately for the program and are executed via Project Management Develop Lean standard work templates as well as Action Plans for GE9X AUC that will further drive visual management and a high degree of execution of projectsWork with engineering to document development engine & compliance engine learningsSupport PCB process with project execution and managementLead or participate in organizational efforts in assigned projects and/or tasksFormulate and implement plans to achieve technical and program requirements, schedules and customer commitmentsSupport negotiations with suppliers when applicableSupport cost out efforts with internal GE shopsTravel globally as requiredDrive change by demonstrating clear thinking, articulate roles & responsibilities, manage hand-offs between different organizationsEnsure proper documentation of technical data generated for assigned projects/tasks consistent with MCRB policies and proceduresFoster and inspire a collaborative work style and display team-oriented behavior with a proactive example of communication internally and externallyQualifications/Requirements:
A miniumum of Bachelor Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science from an accredited university or collegeA minimum of 7 years’ experience in an aerospace and or technical supply chain project managementDesired Characteristics:
Previous experience in Aviation engines / systems / aircraft / repair or turbo machineryFamiliar with GE Aerospace customer / product support role functions (CPM / CSM)Previous experience working with Finance or with financial modelsAbility to effectively manage multiple project responsibilitiesPrevious experience in driving operational excellence and continuous improvementClear communication and strong interpersonal skillsThis role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
