The Gear Repair Specialist will primarily have a specialist focus on machining power transmission boxes.

As Gear Repair Specialist, you will be responsible for:
Understanding and using mechanical and/or digital measurement tools such as tape measure, micrometer, indicator caliper, etc.Reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings.Performing mathematical calculations commonly used in a manufacturing environment.Operating manufacturing equipment, to tear down, diagnose, assemble, test, and repair products common to the industries where the business is active.Assisting in the assembly cell pulling parts to maintain inventory levels.Using small hand tools, operate material handling equipment including forklifts, cranes, hoists, skids, pallet handlers, and hand trucks or lift heavy objects by hand within applicable weight limitations.Performing any other job duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.Following all safety and quality procedures during all work operations.

To be successful in this role you will:
High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution.Minimum 1 years of experience in a production / industrial environment or equivalent experience.Ability and willingness to lift, pull, or push 40+ pounds.Ability and willingness to work first and second shifts and scheduled workdays, including weekends.Ability to stand, stoop, bend, squat, and push.Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Multi-tasking skills to accomplish various duties.Strong interpersonal skills.
