Geek Squad Services Agent

As a Geek Squad Services Agent, you’ll perform technology services, both in customers’ home and in your local store. You’ll perform basic home theater delivery and installation services in homes as well as repairs following Geek Squad’s standard operating procedures (SOP). You’ll also assess, test and perform repairs on computers in the store.
What you’ll doBuild relationships with customers by providing and fulfilling recommendations regarding product, service, content (including membership)Establish and maintain consistent rhythms for timely follow up and ensure commitments are met or exceededPerform advanced complexity work and de-escalate difficult customer interactions as neededManage inventory and vehicle maintenance in partnership with other Agents, process paperwork and payment, and provide feedback and training opportunitiesTravel to customers’ homes to perform basic delivery and installationPerform technical work within the retail locationBasic qualificationsMust be at least 21 years oldMust have a current, valid driver’s license and maintain a driving record which meets Best Buy safety standardsAbility to acquire and maintain any state or local licensing, as required, to perform job effectivelyAbility to lift 75 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation, up to 150 pounds as part of a team, and between 150 – 250 pounds as part of a team and/or with support tools such as harnesses or lifts3 months delivery or installation or computer troubleshooting experience3 months of customer service experiencePreferred qualifications6 months of consumer electronics delivery, installation, integration and troubleshooting experienceWhat’s in it for you
