This includes taking on various roles within the Finance department including duties involving all areas of the accounting cycle. The candidate will play a vital role in the month end close will interact with various cross functional departments and stakeholders. **What You Will Do:** + Prepare Weekly Bank entries and month end bank reconciliation. + Preparation and analysis of monthly reconciliations and variance reports. + Support the month end close process. + Record and Reconcile Payroll entries. + Analyze and record month end entries to manage balance sheet and income statement accounts. + Control & Manage local Chart of accounts including HFM mappings. + Monitoring of Leased and Fixed Assets. + Provide Support for Sarbanes Oxley related responsibilities. + Assist in preparation of all materials needed to comply with year-end audit requirements. + Support various Finance functional areas; Treasury/Hedging, Audits, Cost Accounting, Taxes, Statistical reporting. **What You Need to Succeed:** + High School Diploma required, accounting degree or diploma preferred, or equivalent years of work experience. + 5+ years of accounting experience required + CPA designation or final stages would be considered an asset. + Experience in dealing with cost accounting and standard costing systems. + Exposure to Full Cycle Accounting + Experience in dealing with Multicurrency. + AS400 & Hyperion Experience would be considered an asset. **Why Work for Us?**   **Allegion is a Great Place to Grow your Career if:**   + You're seeking a rewarding opportunity that allows you to truly help others.  With thousands of employees and customers around the world, there’s plenty of room to make an impact.
