General Accountant

We are looking for a General Accountant to join the team!
Responsibilities:
+ Handle daily general ledger tasks and reporting.
+ Reconcile various Balance Sheet Accounts like Bank, Inventory, and Accruals.
+ Work with Supply Chain and Engineering to set annual standard costs in the ERP system.
+ Report and analyze manufacturing variances such as Labor and Overhead.
+ Perform month-end close tasks including journal entries and account analysis.
+ Assist with physical inventory counts and analyze discrepancies.
+ Monitor overhead rates and compare absorbed vs actual overhead.
+ Review and post daily manufacturing transactions.
+ Provide information for audits.
+ Manage Fixed Assets and Capital Expenditures.
+ Prepare weekly reports for Senior Management and other ad-hoc reports.
+ Perform other duties as assigned by the Controller.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
+ 5+ years of experience in Accounting and Corporate Finance.
+ Knowledge of Cost Accounting methods.
+ Experience in a manufacturing environment.
+ Familiarity with general ledger functions and month-end/year-end close.
+ Ability to handle multiple projects and respond quickly to support requests.
+ Strong communication skills.
+ ERP knowledge (Epicor experience is a plus).
+ Advanced MS Excel skills (V-Lookup, Pivot Tables, etc.).
Preferred:
+ Knowledge of DCAA compliance and Federal Acquisition Regulations.
+ Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
