Job Title: General Assembler
Job Description

We are expanding our footprint in the woodworking industry and are in need of general assemblers to join our team. The role involves general assembly and production of wood containers, crates, and platforms. Candidates with prior assembly, building, carpentry, and/or nail gun experience are preferred.

ResponsibilitiesPerform general assembly and production of wood containers, crates, and platforms.Utilize hand/power tools, nail guns, measuring tools, stapling tools, and basic cutting saws.Start in general assembly and work into other areas such as custom assembly and machine operating.Stay on feet for the entire shift and occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.Essential SkillsExperience with hand tools and power tools.Proficiency with nail guns and measuring tools.Ability to read a tape measure.Basic knowledge of saws.Prior assembly, building, carpentry experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in general labor and production.Forklift operation experience is a plus.Why Work Here?

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rock Island, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
