Job Description
We are expanding our footprint in the woodworking industry and are seeking dedicated General Assemblers to join our team. In this role, you will be involved in the general assembly and production of wood containers, crates, and platforms.
ResponsibilitiesPerform general assembly of wood containers, crates, and platforms.Utilize hand/power tools, nail guns, measuring tools, stapling tools, and basic cutting saws.Start in general assembly and potentially move into custom assembly or machine operating.Stand for entire shifts and occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.Essential SkillsExperience in assembly, building, carpentry, and/or using nail guns.Proficiency with hand and power tools.Ability to read and use a tape measure.Experience with saws and other measuring tools.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with forklifts is beneficial.Ability to work efficiently in a production environment.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is non-climate controlled but relatively clean for a wood manufacturer. The facility is large with ample employee parking.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rock Island, Illinois.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
