We are currently seeking a General Assembly Manufacturing Operations Supervisor to join our team!

 

Navistar has an exciting opportunity for a General Assembly Manufacturing Operations Supervisor in the Springfield Assembly plant.  The Manufacturing Operations Supervisor role directs the development and implementation of activities in production area(s) to meet production goals, quality and cost objectives.  Position will develop schedules and workforce requirements for assigned areas and select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Responsibilities Drive safety improvements, behaviors and a strong culture of safety in the plant.Responsible for leading and supervising up to 30+ hourly employees in the plant.Drive to quality and production performance metricsAllocate staffing and coverage, foresee production issues and diminish down-timeCommunicate across multiple functions including engineering, quality, supply chain and other production departments in the manufacturing plant to ensure production goals are metDevelop and maintain standard work instructionsEnsure employees are heard, ideas are shared, and drive a culture of continuous improvementSupport problem resolution, root cause analysis and corrective action tracking and sustainmentLead by example with the TRATON core values Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degreeAt least 3 years of production/manufacturing experience

OR

Master’s degreeAt least 1 year of production/manufacturing experience

OR
