About the Opportunity  

We are seeking applications for talented and passionate hospitality professionals to join our team for ongoing permanent positions at our remote villages throughout regional Queensland, commencing in April, May and June.  We are offering the opportunity to attend one of our Recruitment Drive sessions to learn about Civeo itself, as well as a comprehensive insight into life and working in our villages delivered by our experienced village leaders.

Positions available include General Assistants in Kitchen, Housekeeping, Bar & Retail as well as Guest Services Assistants, Stores and Facilities Attendants.  

Thinking you might want to be a Supervisor or Manager? We strongly encourage candidates wishing to be considered for Supervisor roles within our Villages to attend, as it’s a great opportunity to discuss leadership and career progression with our operational leaders. We offer supervisory roles within each of our departments, including Guest Services Manager/Supervisor, F&B Supervisors in both our kitchen and Hubs, Duty Manager roles and heaps more – come along to discuss where you feel you may be best suited!

This is open to Qld residents only and spots are limited! Your participation at our half day Recruitment Drive / Assessment Centre give you a chance to get to know us and have some fun!  We have sessions available on March 17th in Bundaberg, March 19th in Emerald, March 20th in Rockhampton, and March 21st in Gladstone.  

The villages we are hiring for are located in regional Qld in Coppabella, Dysart, Moranbah, Middlemount, Nebo and more.  Drive in to one of our villages. Our Villages are located in places approx 450km from Bundaberg, 300km from Rocky. You will be assigned a permanent Village so you will go to the same place each rotation.

General Assistant salary if $64,768 plus superannuation paid on all rostered hours. Essential requirements:  

Willing & able to supply a National Police Clearance obtained in last 6 months Valid Drivers license – Manual C class preferred but others considered Supervisor roles – previous experience supervising in a hospitality or retail setting (bar, restaurant etc.) is highly regarded Ability to commit to ongoing 14:7 roster, involving two weeks living and working on site, one week R&R. Note: Some roles offer a 5:2 roster for local residents who wish to live offsite Able to travel via Drive In / Drive out to regional Queensland or via our free chartered buses from Mackay Airport. Able to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening Flexible to work both day or night shifts as required for your role   Current legal right to work in Australia, ideally of 12 months of more Relevant tickets for the position you are applying for (e.g. forklift ticket for stores, RSA for F&B departments etc.)
