Job Description
Lead the Legal and Insurance department of a prominent Middle Eastern shipping company, reporting directly to the CEO. Provide strategic legal guidance on shipping, maritime operations, LNG, joint ventures, M&A, and financing.


Key Responsibilities:


Strategic Leadership: Manage legal and insurance, align with company goals, drive compliance. Legal Advisory: Advise on commercial, finance, LNG, and joint venture matters; ensure contract integrity; manage maritime legal risks. Litigation & Dispute: Oversee litigation, lead dispute resolution. Legal Analysis: Direct legal research and analysis. Operational Oversight: Manage budgets, develop department policies.
Qualifications:


Law Degree (Master's preferred). Professional legal qualification. 15+ years legal experience (8+ in LNG, 8-10+ in senior shipping legal roles). Expertise in Shipping Law, International Trade Law, Commercial Law, and LNG. Proven leadership and communication skills.
