Summary:

Directs and coordinates activities of workers engaged in repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment in underground salt mining facility. Directly supervises 8 to 15 employees in the Maintenance Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training; planning, assigning, and directing work; ensure work is completed on a safe and efficient manner.

Education and/or Experience:

Technical training in mechanical maintenance.Eight years maintenance and 5 years supervisory experience required with direct work experience maintaining heavy diesel equipment and conveyor systems.Underground mine experience preferred.Experience with shaft maintenance will be considered an asset.
