Job Summary
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the General Kitchen Worker position performs a variety of duties relating to patient meal services.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience
Previous experience strongly preferred.
Licensure and/or Certification
None required.
Skills
Demonstrated safe and sanitary working practices. o Ability to maintain confidential information.
Ability to read, understand and follow written instructions and meal tickets.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to interact with patients, employees, family members, staff, and other customers in a positive, hospitable manner.
Computer skills to check Hospital e-mail and perform other training and mandatory requirements.
Ability to maintain confidential information.
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
