**Job Title: General Labor 3rd Shift** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated General Laborer for the 3rd shift to join our team. You will be responsible for operating plastic machines, ensuring production runs smoothly, and performing various manual labor tasks. This role requires physical stamina and attention to detail as you will be handling heavy plastic rolls and ensuring the quality of the final product. **Responsibilities** + Load machines with plastic sheets to produce plastic bags of various sizes. + Lift heavy rolls of plastic weighing around 50 pounds approximately 20% of the day. + Unload finished rolls of plastic into bins and transport them to skids or boxes. + Cut boxes for packaging rolls of plastic. + Ensure plastic machines are running correctly. + Read and measure using a tape measure to cut boxes and trim excess plastic. + Float between tasks as needed to support the team. **Essential Skills** + 6 months of machine operation experience in any production environment. + Ability to read and measure using a tape measure. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience working with plastic is a plus. + Mechanically inclined individuals who are comfortable with hard work. **Why Work Here?** Join a family-owned company that has been a premier supplier of custom polyethylene film products since 1987. Safety glasses are required and will be provided. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Caledonia, Michigan. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
