Volt is hiring General Labors for a local leading vegetable processing organization in Santa Maria, CA.

\r\n\r\n

As a General Laborer, you will:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tFlexible to work 12 hour shifts open to work any shift both morning and afternoons\r\n\tAssociate works as a crewmember preparing raw food for processing\r\n\tExamines, classifies and separates produce on conveyor belt according to grade, color, and size of product.\r\n\tDiscards cull (inferior or defective) items and foreign material such as metal, glass, wood, plastic, stems, leaves, insects, etc.\r\n\tMust notify superintendent, supervisor or QC Inspector immediately upon finding glass, rocks or animals (i.e. bird, rodent, amphibian, etc.)\r\n\tMay trim product with a knife or paring tool\r\n\tMaintains work area clean.\r\n\tWill don personal protective equipment (PPE) before commencing work.\r\n\tFollows all safety guidelines set forth by the Company.\r\n\tPerforms other duties as assigned.\r\n\t Ability to work a 12-hour shift.\r\n\tAbility to work a 7-day week; including holidays.\r\n\t Ability to work a rotating shift if necessary.\r\n\r\n\r\n

This is a Full-time 1st Shift Opportunity Pay Rate: $18/hr,
