**General Laborer** **Job Description** We are looking for dedicated General Laborers to join our team at a large precast concrete company. You will be involved in various tasks, including moving rebar, setting forms, and pouring concrete, with the opportunity to train as a carpenter. This role requires consistent lifting and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. **Responsibilities** + Move rebar through the facility + Help set forms and pour concrete + Set up and oil forms + Lay mesh + Tie reinforcing bars and steel + Set inserts + Strike off + Strip forms + Clean up **Essential Skills** + Experience in general labor, concrete, construction, concrete finishing, and finish carpentry + Ability to perform consistent lifting and work in a fast-paced environment + 6+ months of concrete work in either residential or commercial settings is a huge plus **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience as a general laborer on a commercial job site is highly desirable + Willingness to be trained as a carpenter **Why Work Here?** We offer year-round work with competitive compensation and profit sharing. Concrete setting and pouring are done inside the manufacturing facility, while staging and shipping occur outside in the yard. Expect to get dirty after a full day of work. The hours are from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The dress code includes steel-toed boots, jeans, and a work shirt. PPE, including a hard hat, vest, and glasses, will be provided. You will work with a team of 2-3 people, among a total of about 70 people throughout the facility. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, Nebraska. **These positions are filling fast so apply now!!
