**General Laborer** **Job Description** In this position, you will work directly with 2-5 others on one machine to efficiently package finished materials as they come out of the machine. These machines are Roll Forming machines, producing metal shingles, siding, and gutters. Each machine will be operated by one Machine Operator II. Depending on which machine/product you work on, you can expect to work with 2-5 other Packagers (Machine Operator I). Each product is visually quality checked to ensure no manufacturing defects are present. **Responsibilities** + Work closely with others in a fast-paced environment, paying close attention to detail. + Make boxes, package, palletize, and move products. + Use power tools such as drills, staple guns, and other pneumatic tools. + Learn to operate several machines and work with different groups daily. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 6+ months in a manufacturing/production environment + Mechanically inclined + Experience with hand and power tools + Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide inches and pounds using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals + Ability to read and understand tape measures and calculators + Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions + Ability to measure parts as part of quality checks + Bilingual (Spanish and English) **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
