**Job Title: General Labor Workers** **Job Description** We are seeking General Labor Workers to assemble custom wall trusses or roof or floor trusses. You will read blueprints, climb on and off tables, and use hand tools and tape measures to assemble the trusses and walls. This role requires teamwork and the ability to perform repetitive tasks, as you will work on the same truss or wall multiple times before switching to a different one. Physical activities include bending, stooping, squatting, and reaching at odd angles. **Responsibilities** + Assemble custom wall trusses or roof or floor trusses + Read blueprints + Climb on and off tables + Use hand tools and tape measures to assemble trusses and walls + Collaborate with other team members + Perform repetitive tasks, assembling the same truss or wall multiple times + Bend, stoop, squat, and reach at odd angles **Essential Skills** + Ability to read a tape measure + Good attendance verified by references **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 6+ months of hand tool experience + 6+ months in a construction, general labor, or physically demanding environment + Physically nimble for truss side roles + Less physically demanding roles available on wall side with more use of air tools **Why Work Here?** Our company offers a collaborative team environment where you can develop your skills in construction and assembly. The indoor lumber yard environment will be your primary workspace, with specific workstations provided. Teams consist of 2-5 people per line/group, with a total of 60 people per shift. The dress code includes jeans or shorts, t-shirts, and layers as needed, with no sweatpants, cut-offs, or profane language allowed. Steel toe shoes are required. You must bring a hammer or be prepared to purchase one. The first shift runs Monday through Thursday from 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM, and the second shift runs Monday through Thursday from 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waverly, Nebraska. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
