Job Description
Aerotek is seeking a dedicated General Laborer to join our team for a position that includes physical labor in an indoor/outdoor work climate. Starting wage is 20$HR and would train on Day Shift. Those interested in swing would train on Day and rotate to a Swing Shift if desired. Responsibilities will include cleaning totes, printing labels, moving and cleaning barrels, and performing general labor tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs consistently. Anyone with cleaning, general labor, and forklift experience are encouraged to apply.
ResponsibilitiesOperate production assets safely and follow established procedures.Perform daily production, preventative maintenance, and process data collection.Report safety, quality, or other issues to the Team Leader/Shift Supervisor.Ensure production targets are met while maintaining quality standards.Issue Corrective Action Reports (CAR) or Hazard reports when necessary.Provide progress updates and attend meetings.Investigate HSE or quality issues and participate in Continuous Improvement activities.Clean portable tanks and equipment using cleaning tools and chemicals.Operate the automated tank washer machine.Maintain storage of raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods.Operate a forklift and assist in obtaining materials for production.Ensure proper disposal or reconditioning of empty containers.Maintain storage of materials and assist fill-off operators.Perform daily forklift inspections and assist in obtaining materials for production.Fill completed products into containers, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.Measure and weigh products accurately and check for leaks.Complete batch tickets and send containers to the shipping department.Add raw materials in the specified order and coordinate sample testing with QC.Maintain housekeeping standards and assist in other tasks as needed.Operate machine controls, set up and break down the mill, and understand color development.Essential SkillsAttention to detailAbility to lift up to 75 lbsExperience in productionSanitation and manual labor skillsAdditional Skills & QualificationsForklift experiencePallet jack experience
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.37 - $20.37/hr.
