Job Description

Under the supervision of the Site Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for sorting different types of metals using manual processes.

Sorting different types of metal based on their characteristicsPrepare the material to meet the quality criteria (e.g., aluminium cutting)Work with different types of machinery (forklift)Keep worksite cleanAssist in the loading and unloading of customer vehiclesProvide excellent customer serviceAttract the right type of metal to the metals brought by the customerParticipate in shipping tasksAssist with torch cutting as needed Perform all other related duties

Qualifications

Qualifications

ON-SITE TRAININGMinimum 1 year experience as a laborer.Ability to work in a noisy and dusty environment.Knowledge of metals (an asset).Comfortable wearing personal protective equipment (mask, plugs, helmets, gloves, etc.)

Desired Skills :

Health and Safety Awareness;Must be in good physical condition.Resourcefulness;Must be meticulous and enjoy repetitive work.Punctuality and diligence.Ability to work in a team.

Work environment / Additional information

Work schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm + Saturday 8:00 am to 12:00 pmFull time, permanent position.Work inside and outside.
