**Job Title: General Laborer** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Machine Operator to join our team. This position is for the 1st shift, Monday through Thursday from 6am to 4:30pm, with overtime starting at 5am. As a Machine Operator, you will assist in the setup and operation of various metal forming equipment. This role is dynamic and may include tasks such as fabrication, inspection, assembly, and packaging. **Responsibilities** + Operate machines such as drill press, brake press, and punch press to bend, cut, and form metal parts. + Assist in the setup of metal forming equipment. + Measure parts to quality standards using precision measuring equipment. + Manually move metal while adhering to safety protocols. + Adjust settings on presses according to part requirements. + Perform tasks in various departments including fabrication and inspection. **Essential Skills** + Experience in production and machine operation. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Proficiency in using a tape measure and precision measuring equipment. + Basic understanding of units of measurement. + Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal. + Capability to lift and move a minimum of 50 pounds independently and as part of a team. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Working knowledge of basic tools and their proper use. + Ability to stand for 10 hours and perform repetitive movements such as twisting and turning. **Why Work Here?** We offer a competitive hourly wage and an attendance incentive program where employees can earn bonuses of up to $1,500. The environment can get a little dirty, but safety is our top priority. You will be expected to wear steel-toed boots, safety glasses, and ear plugs while on the floor. The company provides all necessary Personal Protective Equipment including safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection when applicable.
