**Job Title: General Laborer** **Job Description** The general laborer will be responsible for digging, shoveling, and moving material around the jobsite. They will be lifting 50 lbs repeatedly and engaging in various physical tasks. **Responsibilities** + Dig, shovel, and move materials around the jobsite. + Lift 50 lbs repeatedly. + Scale ladders as needed for tasks. + Work in trenches to help set and build forms. + Follow all safety guidelines to maintain compliance with OSHA and National Grid contracts. **Essential Skills** + Previous experience in the construction field (solar, farm work, roadway, building, industrial, etc.). + Ability to scale ladders and lift 50 lbs repeatedly. + OSHA 10 certification. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in construction, civil, site, equipment operating, farm, or solar work. + Skills in general labor, farm hand, solar, concrete, carpentry, and landscape. **Why Work Here?** We foster a safe and family-oriented environment for our employees, and offer competitive wages, a comprehensive benefits package, 401(k), and more. Enjoy job stability with 50+ hours a week. **Work Environment** This is very physical work, and candidates will be on their feet all day moving material around, often with shovels or other tools. The start time is 6:30 AM at the shop daily, with 10-hour workdays. The team consists of 14 total workers in the field. Candidates must be comfortable with dirty and muddy conditions and wear work shirts, pants, and steel toes at all times. Winter gear is provided when cold, along with a hard hat, glasses, gloves, and hi-viz vest.
