**Job Title: General Laborer** **Job Description** The installers are similar to a general laborer and will unload furniture at the job site, stage the furniture, unpack and then assemble furniture using hand tools and blueprints once at the site location. Installers will use hand and power tools of a wide variety to assemble the workspaces such as screwdrivers, wrenches, drills. At times, they will be in front of personnel and the clients while they perform the install job. They are responsible for loading and unloading trucks with materials and supplies to build the product and tools. They will work from blueprints to assemble furniture and will assist with boxing and un-boxing products to assemble the furniture. **Responsibilities** + Unload furniture at the job site + Stage and unpack furniture + Assemble furniture using hand and power tools + Work from blueprints to assemble furniture + Load and unload trucks with materials and supplies + Assist with boxing and un-boxing products to assemble the furniture + Use a variety of hand and power tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, and drills **Essential Skills** + Experience with hand and power tools + Mechanically inclined + Comfortable lifting up to 50-75 lbs + Assembly skills + General labor experience **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 6+ months of experience working with hand/power tools, building products at home, fixing cars, or things around the house + 6 months of experience as an installer, in the construction field, or in moving or junk removal + Must own a car and have a valid driver's license **Why Work Here?** Contractor is provided with a uniform right when they start, including 3 pants and 3 shirts in 30 days and then 2 more full outfits after that. You will receive a $0.50-$0.75 raise once hired on and an annual raise every May when hired on permanently. Additionally, you can earn a 5-8% quarterly bonus after being with the company for over a year, with the last quarter's bonus at 7.9% equating to about $1.50/hr. Receive a $70 boot reimbursement yearly upon permanent hire. **Work Environment** The installers are responsible for reporting to job sites, which will vary each day and/or week. This role involves working in a corporate workspace and furniture installation company.
