Job Description

Reporting to the Team Leader, the Laborer is responsible for assisting in the preparation of vehicles for salvage, using mobile crushing equipment. 

Sorting different types of metal based on their characteristicsUse torch to cut metalWork with different types of machinery (forklift)Shovel Keep worksite cleanHelp load and unload vehiclesOffer excellent customer service Contribute to any other tasks related to the operations of the site

Qualifications

 

Ability to work in a noisy and dusty environment inside/outside of the shop Knowledge of metals (an asset)Work experience with forklift and/or valid license to operate a forklift (an asset)Willingness to wear personal protective equipmentComfortable using a computer and Microsoft Office is an assest
