Job Title: General Laborer

Job Description

We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as General Laborers. The role involves working in a production environment where high-end rubber strips are manufactured and sold to automotive and non-automotive companies. The rubber is primarily used in car parts that involve oil, such as hoses, seals, and gaskets. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dirty environment.

We offer steady work with no layoffs and a Monday to Friday schedule with no mandatory overtime. As a unionized company, we have recently increased our pay rates and offer growth opportunities through cross-training and internal promotions. Many of our current supervisors and managers started as general laborers. We are expanding and looking to add a third shift due to our growth. Contractors are brought on full-time after 60 days, per union contract.

Work Environment

This role operates in a production environment with shifts available from 6 am to 2 pm (1st shift) and 2 pm to 10 pm (2nd shift with a $.50 shift differential). The work environment requires wearing steel-toed shoes, jeans, and a work shirt. The job involves lifting heavy objects and working in a potentially dirty environment.

This is a position based out of Whitewater, Wisconsin. Pay starts at $21.62
