**Job Title: General Labor/ Press Assistant** **Job Description** The Press Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Press Operator with various tasks including changing plates, changing inks, and helping with job order changes. The role also involves conducting quality checks, which include visual inspections and measurements to ensure products meet specifications. **Responsibilities** + Assist the Press Operator with changing plates and inks. + Help with job order changes. + Conduct quality checks through visual inspections and measurements. + Ensure each product meets specified standards. **Essential Skills** + Experience with machine operation, tools, and assembly. + General production and manufacturing knowledge. + Minimum of 2 years of consistent work history at one company (manufacturing experience preferred). **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Flexibility to switch shifts with other employees. + Ability to work in a loud environment with ink odors. + Strong adherence to safety protocols and procedures. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a flexible schedule with 4 days off every other week and no rotating schedules. Benefit from a $.50 raise after 90 days and a $1/hour increase after one year, along with annual reviews. **Work Environment** Shifts available: TFS (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, every other Sunday from 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM) with a 6% shift premium, and WTF (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, every other Saturday from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM) with an 8% shift premium. The printing area can be loud and hot in the summer, with a light smell of ink. Safety is a top priority, and steel toe shoes are not required but acceptable. Employees will work 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.60 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
