Description:

Aerotek is looking for Machine Operators in the New Haven, CT area for an immediate job opportunity. This company produces metal sheeting and plate materials flat rolled carbon steel, aluminum and stainless steel. These operators will be completing the following tasks:

Receive materialRemove metal wrapping from steel rollsPrepare steel rolls to be cutHelp perform basic measurements utilizing micrometers and calipers etc.Keep area around the machine cleanHelp record and document work

Skills & Qualifications:

Machine operating or other manufacturing experienceAbility to read and interpret blueprints is a plusMust be able to communicate effectively with machine operatorMust be able to read and write EnglishComputer skills are a plusAbility to utilize basic measuring tools is a plus

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00
