Job Description
Join our team as a General Laborer, where you will play a crucial role in producing high-end rubber strips for automotive and non-automotive companies. Our rubber products are essential in the automotive industry, especially in areas involving oil, such as rubber hoses, seals, and gaskets. Candidates will rotate between different tasks throughout the day to ensure a varied work experience.
ResponsibilitiesWeighing out chemicals based on individual batch needsMixing chemicals togetherAdding chemicals to a containerPackaging rubber strips into cardboard or plastic boxesUsing a forklift to move full containers (training provided, sit-down, gas)Ensuring the machine runs smoothlyTaking measurement checks to ensure the product is at the correct thicknessEssential SkillsGeneral labor experience (1+ year)Production or manufacturing experience (6 months - 1 year)Ability to lift 50-60 lbsExperience in packing, production, machine operation, inspection, forklift operation, and manual laborJob tenure of 1+ year within the last couple of jobsAbility to read and speak EnglishAdditional Skills & QualificationsForklift operating experience is a plus but not required (training provided)Why Work Here?

Work Environment
This is a dirty environment, and candidates should be prepared for that. The work hours are as follows: 1st shift: 6am - 2pm, Monday to Friday; 2nd shift: 2pm - 10pm, Monday to Friday. The dress code includes steel-toed boots, jeans, and a work shirt. Pay starts at $21.62/hr
