Job Title: General Laborer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Laborer to join our team. This position is focused on site cleanup, preparing construction sites, and assisting with the use of hand and power tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to safely perform various labor tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:Site Cleanup: Maintain cleanliness and organization on construction sites by removing debris, trash, and other materials from work areas.Site Preparation: Assist in preparing the construction site by clearing debris, leveling grounds, and setting up materials for construction.Tool Operation: Use hand tools (such as shovels, brooms, wheelbarrows) and power tools (such as drills, saws, and grinders) safely and effectively.Assisting Tradespeople: Support skilled tradespeople with various tasks, including moving materials, holding items in place, and cleaning tools.Material Handling: Load and unload materials, ensuring proper storage and distribution on site.Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and others.General Labor Support: Perform various other labor-related tasks as directed by supervisors or project managers.Qualifications:Previous experience in general labor, construction, or site preparation is preferred but not required.Ability to work with hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team.Good communication skills and a positive attitude.Physical Demands:Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift for extended periods.Ability to work in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain.Regular lifting of heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).Benefits:[Insert benefits, e.g., health insurance, paid time off, etc.]Opportunity for overtime and career advancement.A positive and supportive work environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00
