**1st Shift General Laborer $19/hour** **Job Description** We are seeking dedicated General Laborers to perform a variety of cleaning tasks using hand tools and equipment. The role involves cleaning machinery and work areas, removing ash from products, and addressing oil spills. You will be expected to handle repetitive lifting, stooping, bending, and climbing. Proper use of PPE is mandatory in designated areas. **Responsibilities** + Perform cleaning tasks on machinery and work areas using hand tools and equipment + Clean ash from products and shovel into buckets + Address oil spills and other contaminations around machinery + Conduct overall cleaning of entire machines during shutdowns + Lift up to 50 lbs unassisted + Climb ladders or stairs as needed + Wear PPE such as double hearing protection, fire-resistant coveralls, eye protection, and hard hats in specified areas + Clean up grease, oil, ash, and lime at the manufacturing site **Essential Skills** + Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or construction environments + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted + Willingness to work varied hours, including early or late shifts as required + Proficiency with hand and power tools + Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as power washers and shovels **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in landscaping would be considered + Experience with hydro blasting or power washing equipment + Understanding of confined spaces and respirator usage **Why Work Here?** We offer weekly pay and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, life, and vision insurance after 30 days. The environment is hot, dirty, loud, and dusty, with oily conditions. Contractors will work a standard 40-hour week with shifts starting at 6:30 am, and overtime may be required. Appropriate PPE including steel-toe boots, eye protection, hard hats, and fire-resistant coveralls must be worn at all times.
