Traveling Ice Rink Builder

Pay: 

25/hr (50–60-hour weeks)

50/day Per diem 

Job Description:

Rink-Tec International, Inc., is a leading expert in ice arena construction and custom refrigeration systems. Since 1979, they have designed and built hundreds of ice rinks worldwide, offering services from initial installation to ongoing maintenance. The company performs work for municipal, High School, College, and NHL rinks across the country.

This role will be an entry-level opportunity with/ extensive travel across the US.

You will be assisting in the installation of Ice Rinks from pipe installation, sand/grading, installing vapor barriers, insulation, subfloor, etc. until completion. 2025 client will be installing 22 ice rinks.

Skills & Qualifications:

•\t6+ months in construction, landscaping, concrete, or outdoor work

•\tHand and Power tool proficient

•\tAbility to travel for weeks at a time

•\tWilling to obtain a DOT physical card

•\tReliable transportation

Worksite Locations:

•\tSaint Paul, Minnesota ( Travel throughout the country) 

Benefits:

•\tVehicle, and gas card when hired on.

•\tCandidate can expect to make upwards of 100k with overtime.

Work Environment:

•\tMonday - Saturday (out of town jobs) | 50-60 hour weeks. 10 hour days!

•\tJobs are indoors and take roughly 2-3 weeks from start to finish.

•\tLodging covered by the company, w/ $50/day per diem or meals.

•\tSite locations vary depending on the job: MT, CO, WI, CT, GA, FL, IA, etc.

•\tIf there is drivable work locally in Minnesota (Example: Mankato). The candidate would either drive to the site with their own vehicle and be compensated mileage, report to the shop, and roll out with the crew. Longer distances company will pay for flights to fly you out.


Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00
