**Job Title: General Laborer $18/hr.** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated General Laborer to join our team. This role involves various tasks including handling silica material, packaging, and general site maintenance. You will also have the opportunity to receive training for operating forklifts and driving trucks within the facility. **Responsibilities** + Attach large bags to a chute to catch silica material, operating a lever to control the volume to match the order. The bag is on a scale to show the weight. + Lift 50lb bags from a table waist high and stack them on a pallet next to you. Bags come out every 30 seconds. + Seal and scan labels onto filled bags of material. + Drive a forklift after completing a one-month contract and training. + Drive trucks into the facility after completing a one-month contract and training. This task does not involve driving on roads. + General cleanup of the workstations. **Essential Skills** + General labor experience. + Hand tool proficiency. + Packaging and packing experience. + Forklift operation. + Loading and unloading experience. + Ability to lift 50lb consistently. + Ability to get respirator fit. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience working in hot and cold environments. + Experience with picking tasks. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a $1 raise each year on your anniversary, capping at $23 after three years. We prioritize safety and environmental awareness. **Work Environment** The work environment primarily involves indoor tasks, with large garage doors at each end of the facility that remain open, making the temperature similar to the outside. The position is for the 1st shift from 7 AM to 4:30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks. The average workweek is 45 hours, Monday through Friday, with 50% of Saturdays worked. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
