Job Title: General Laborer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated General Production Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for replacing wooden pallets with plastic ones, aerating loads prior to printing, and performing preventative maintenance on equipment. The ideal candidate will have the ability to read basic measurement tools and follow work instructions accurately. This position requires physical stamina, including the ability to frequently lift or carry weights and perform various physical activities. Need to be comfortable lifting 50lbs and being on your feet for long periods of time.

ResponsibilitiesReplace wooden pallets with plastic pallets and aerate loads prior to printing, based on the production schedule.Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and diagnose, troubleshoot issues by early detection and sound of the machine while in operation.Read basic measurement tools and follow proper work instructions.Frequently lift or carry 10 to 25 pounds and handle pallets weighing 40-52 pounds.Regularly stand, use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls, and frequently reach with hands and arms.Occasionally walk, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.Essential SkillsExperience with assembly and machine operation.Ability to read and follow work instructions.Attention to detailInspection and blueprint reading skills.Mechanically inclined.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to perform preventative maintenance on equipment.Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues by early detection and sound.

Work Environment

This is an entry-level position with a 2-2-3 shift schedule, providing every other weekend off. The role involves physical activities such as lifting, carrying, standing, and using hands to handle objects and tools. Full benefits are provided, including an excellent 401(k) plan. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kingston Springs, Tennessee.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
