**Job Title: Fabricator/General Laborer**
**Shift Schedule:** 1:00pm-11:30pm (Monday-Thursday)
**Job Description**
+ As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for bending, seating, flanging, and top flanging material according to work orders and production drawing specifications. This role aims to achieve safety, quality, efficiency, and lean production goals. Willingness to learn and operate other manual fabrication operations such as shear, weld, punch press, paint, and CNC is preferred.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate press brake and other manual fabrication equipment to manufacture parts according to prints and work orders (75%).
+ Perform quality inspections to drawings and specifications per procedures using various equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measure (15%).
+ Communicate with department leadership regarding issues and improvements.
+ Package finished products in cartons, apply labels, and palletize finished products.
+ Gather and stage work.
+ Maintain a clean work environment (10%).
**Skills & Qualifications**
+ High School Diploma or GED required.
+ 3 years of related experience and/or training.
+ Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
+ Ability to monitor gauges, dials, or other indicators to ensure machines are working properly.
+ Knowledge of arithmetic, including addition and subtraction.
+ Experience in general labor, construction, and production.
+ Ability to use hand tools and operate a forklift.
+ Experience in loading and operating press brake and other manual fabrication equipment.

**Work Environment**
+ The role requires standing, walking, seeing, talking, and hearing. Occasionally, sitting is required. You will operate large equipment while standing for approximately 8-12 hours, regularly twisting and bending in a repetitive motion. You may frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and heavier weights with proper equipment. The job may involve exposure to heat, cold, loud noise levels, vibration, and moving mechanical parts.
**Job Type & Location**
+ This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
