**Job Title: General Laborer** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated General Laborer for a contract-to-hire assignment. In this role, you will assist around the shop, handling tasks such as lifting, cleaning, and moving barricades to fulfill a large order. This is a physically demanding job that requires working outdoors. You will be trained to drive a flatbed truck to load and unload barricades for delivery. This role offers an opportunity for growth within the company, and candidates must have a clean driving record for the driving role once converted. **Responsibilities** + Assist with shop tasks including lifting, cleaning, and moving barricades. + Manually load and unload barricades. + Work outdoors in various weather conditions. + Train to drive a flatbed truck for loading and unloading barricades at delivery locations. + Perform driving routes once trained. + Clean barricades using a power washer and other cleaning supplies. **Essential Skills** + Previous warehouse and general labor experience. + Ability to lift approximately 50 lbs independently. + General labor and warehouse skills including lifting, loading, and unloading trucks. + Experience with flatbed trucks. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with barricades is helpful but not required. + Comfortable using cleaning supplies and power washers. **Why Work Here?** This role offers the potential for growth within the company, benefits, and the opportunity for permanent employment. The job requires working outdoors, often in hot conditions. Steel toe boots with metatarsal coverage are preferred. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Delray Beach, Florida. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
