Job Title: General Laborer – Environmental Construction Project (Jacksonville, FL)

Job Description

We are actively hiring four local General Laborers for a Superfund Site Clean-up project in Jacksonville, Florida. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals interested in hands-on environmental and construction work. Join us to contribute to a critical environmental initiative while gaining valuable experience in commercial and environmental construction.

Responsibilities

Perform heavy lifting (40-50 lbs.) regularlySweep and carry out general site clean-up activitiesClean and maintain heavy construction equipment (e.g., bulldozers, rollers, trackhoes)Ensure the facility remains organized and well-maintainedParticipate in a variety of labor-intensive tasks as required

Essential Skills

General labor and construction experienceKnowledge of commercial construction and environmental constructionHazwoper certification (or willingness to obtain)Proficient with hand tools and power toolsFamiliarity with OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 safety standards

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Availability to be on call when neededAbility to lift, pull, or push up to 50 lbs. repeatedlyStrong ability to follow verbal and written instructionsAttention to detail and ability to stay focused on tasksMust hold a valid Florida driver’s license
