As a leader in site access solutions, we manufacture and rent sustainable composite matting while providing comprehensive services that protect people and the environment. **Position Summary** Our General Laborers work to assist the matting crew in setting up access roads or pads for customers’ work sites. This includes laying and pinning mats around designated locations and removing mats upon project completion. Matting systems are used for any application that requires access in special environments, stabilization for heavy equipment or simple ground protection. **Position:** General Laborer **Location:** 9516 W County RD 60, Midland, TX 79707 **Schedule:** 5-6 days a week. **Hours:** 12-14 hours per day, start/end time varies **Pay Rate:** $19/Hr + overtime pay **Responsibilities** * Assist with installing/removing mats and liners * Assist in setting down liner pads prior to the installment of the mats * Secure mats into the ground via hammering pins and fasteners * Communicate with Heavy Equipment Operators for mat positioning * Patch and repair liners as needed * Occasionally assists with clearing the land from vegetation such as trees, bushes, snow * Assists other workers in production activities * Handles special projects as assigned **Qualifications** * Ability to follow exact direction * Ability to perform manual labor outdoors * Ability to work in extreme weather conditions * Ability to adhere to all safety and quality procedures * Good interpersonal skills required to work in a team environment * Ability to work a flexible schedule, long hours, and holidays * Good attendance, punctuality, and timeliness are a must * Basic knowledge of mechanical operating procedures and processes * Experience with basic hand tools * Must be able to meet position requirements regarding criminal background, motor vehicle record, and drug screen/physical * US work Authorization (required) * Updated resume (required) * Driver’s License (preferred) * High School Diploma or educational equivalent. **Summary** As a key member of our team at NPK, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our mission of safety and excellence in site access solutions.
