**Job Title: Melter Position** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual with general labor or general production experience for a Melter position. The role involves various tasks including stacking, palletizing, heavy lifting, unpackaging, and packaging of cocoa butter and other ingredients. You will also operate a lift machine to dump cocoa butter into a melter machine and package the finished product. **Responsibilities** + Stack blocks of cocoa butter boxes. + Palletize boxes of cocoa butter. + Perform heavy lifting of cocoa butter boxes and other ingredients. + Unpackage boxes of cocoa butter and use a lift machine to dump cocoa butter into a melter machine. + Package the finished product. **Essential Skills** + Ability to lift 50 lbs. + Basic troubleshooting skills. + Familiarity with GMPs and HACCP. + Experience with documentation. + Comfortable working in heat up to 120 degrees in the hot summer. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in general labor or general production. + Skills in operating machines and troubleshooting. + Ability to perform tasks such as heavy lifting, palletizing, stacking, and packaging. **Why Work Here?** Our company values employee engagement and offers numerous activities and events to foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment. Employees should be comfortable managing their time effectively and working in warm conditions up to 120 degrees during the summer. The work environment is louder than average due to machinery. Steel-toe shoes above the ankle are required. Shifts include: 1st shift (5:30 AM - 2:00 PM), 2nd shift (1:30 PM - 10:00 PM), and 3rd shift (9:30 PM - 6:00 AM). The schedule rotates with two consecutive days off and includes working at least two weekends per month. Be prepared to work any day of the week with 5-10 hours of overtime per week. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of American Canyon, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
