Job Title: Laborer $19-21/hr (Weekly Pay)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Inspector to perform emissions testing at a heavy industrial site. The role requires an individual who is comfortable working outdoors and can accurately record and communicate emissions data in compliance with state and federal regulations.

ResponsibilitiesRecord observations of emissions from the coke making process in accordance with state and federal regulations.Communicate professionally with supervisors and clients on-site.Work outdoors and walk around the site, being comfortable with the elements.Utilize MS Office to input observations of emission data.Perform basic mathematical calculations and have a basic knowledge of computers and technology.Essential Skills1+ year of experience working in a heavy industrial setting (e.g., power plant, steel mill).6+ months of experience using Microsoft Office.High School Diploma or GED.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to walk rounds around the site each day.Comfortability with being outdoors in an industrial environment each day.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This position operates on a first shift schedule, Thursday-Monday, typically from 7am-3pm, with occasional Saturdays if needed. The work is primarily conducted at the US Steel Clairton Works plant, with occasional office visits for safety meetings. The role requires working outdoors most of the time. Full personal protective equipment (PPE) including a hard hat, gloves, glasses, and a high visibility vest will be provided by the client. Candidates must provide their own steel toe boots.


Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
