This position is responsible for working/assisting in one (or more) of several production areas throughout the plant including (but not limited to), Paint Line labor, Glue Line Assembly, Project 60, Blocks and Cardboard and Final Inspection.

Regularly works in one (or more) of the following departments/assignments: Paint line, Glue Line Assembly, Project 60, Blocks and Cardboard and Final Inspection. Assemble, package and/or move doors and/or door componentsDoes minor repair including sanding, gluing, scraping, steaming and easingRead/verify schedules as required to confirm shapes, sizes, and quantities as well as matching production ticket code with door as requiredCheck door/components for proper dimensions and visually inspect for blemishes and all components.Track, notify and/or document defects/failuresMove/Set up/Stage materials manually (and/or with air lift and forklift as needed).Pull doors/components from stock and line up for all operations neededEnsure that doors/components are done completely and correctly and are ready for next process (or ready for Shipping if Final Inspection)Constant communication including required paperwork (if applicable) with up/down stream departments and supervisionFollow safety and process proceduresOther duties as assigned by supervisor/management

Minimum Qualifications and Experience Requirements:

Education: High School Diploma or GEDExperience: Entry Level but one year of manufacturing/fork truck experience preferredCertifications/Licenses: None prior to employment.   Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Ability to use basic hand and power tools; tape measure, hammer, caliper, corner chisel, table saw, impact wrenchAbility to work with others with courtesy and respectGood verbal skills and ability to communicate and work with others effectively  Basic ability to use computer to print and scanFast paced and high output demandWork independently with limited supervisionMust have high attention to detail and quality

Ability to work manually including the lifting up to 75 pounds regularly throughout the shift
