The internship offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical accounting skills, and experience how the general ledger serves as the backbone of an organization's financial reporting. You will gain hands-on experience with accounting software and financial reporting tools, providing you with practical skills that will be valuable in any future accounting or finance role.

This is a hybrid role, which requires the selected candidate to reside within the Cincinnati Tri-State area.

Major Responsibilities

Perform month-end close activitiesBook routine monthly journal entriesReconcile a variety of cash and prepaid accountsAssist with the annual auditParticipate in ad hoc projects

Minimum Education or Certifications Required

High School Diploma or Equivalent RequiredCurrently enrolled at an accredited college or university (Accounting, Finance & Finance Management or Business Management)

Minimum Experience or Skills Required

Basic computer skills (certain departments may desire more specific experience).Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced experience in ExcelExcellent written and oral communication skills.
