General ledger & Reporting Specialist

Your contribution to Prysmian's Success:
We are looking for a General Ledger & Reporting Specialist who will work within the team of General Ledger - Shared Service Center in our HQ offices in Milan.

 

In this position you will:

Manage selected General Ledger accounting activities to enable local and group accounting and statutory financial requirements to be met.

Be responsible of bank management

Support effective internal control maintaining adequate filling of documentation and evidences and full reconciliation of General Ledger accounts balances with legacy or source data

Support timely effective books closing ensuring respect of Group closing calendar

Support accounting managers and controllers on arising accounting issues or anomalies promptly highlighting them and providing recommendations

 

You are the right fit if you have/are:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Economics

Experience of 2-3 years, ideally in an international industrial group.

Excellent accounting knowledge (IFRS/Local GAAP)

Strong IT skills: MS Office, SAP (MM, FI, CO).

Fluency in English is a must

Strong communication & interpersonal skills

Decision making attitude, critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Strong teamwork skills, results oriented and ambitious mindset
