The General Liability Claims department is comprised of a team of General Liability Specialists, Analysts and Claims Specialists who handle both customer and attorney-represented non-litigated claims.
The General Liability Non-Litigated Claims Supervisor monitors liability claims (both customer and attorney-represented non-litigated and some lower value attorney-represented litigated), which includes investigation, analysis, evaluation, negotiations, and settlements. The Supervisor provides oversight of customer and attorney represented claims which may include personally adjusting sensitive, complex, or high exposure customer liability claims. The goal of the non-litigated unit is to resolve as many customer and non-litigated claims as possible.
Hybrid work environment: many of Publix’s corporate offices offer work from home up to two days a week.

As the General Liability Non-Litigated Claims Supervisor, you will:supervise the overall handling of all customer and non-litigated claims and provide oversight of complex or sensitive claims supervise and lead a team which includes daily oversight of the claims function by assigning claims and workflow, managing compliance with internally processes, as well as providing necessary training, performance management and HR related functionsparticipate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities through individual improvement activities, Quality Improvement Processes (QIPs) and Project Teams, and claims related meetingsoversee, manage, monitor, and able to act as the primary adjuster, in specific types of general liability claims and claims handling activities such as complex or high exposure claims, security related claims, vendor involved claims, product related claims, food safety claims, pharmacy claims, claims involving fleet vehicles, etc. This also includes claims where the customer requests supervisory review/handlingrespond to telephone calls and written correspondence regarding liability claims
